Although its no huge city in Canada, Edmonton is an awesome place to live! With a lil' help of friends, plenty of scandalous situations arise in this quiet city!

what shall we call it?

What oh what shall I call it?
Almapalooza?
Alma's Bar-BBQ?
Biggest Lake District Shaker ever?
Longest Lake District party ever?

How about all of the above! Thats right ladies and gents, for 3 days straight the party didnt stop. Starting with Friday night at Tio Beto's for Luis' bday/Welcome home Laura n Andres.

Look even Tonio was ready to party!

PS: i think thats the best picture i've ever taken of the lil' munchkin. Yeah it is!

Saturday -well lets be realistic it started with the room still spinning and the hangover settling in at around noonish. Oh wait, did I forget to mention, it was the hottest day of the year. We reached a scorching 35 degrees. Boy, i know how to pick the party days.
Getting help from some primas, we started the process in what I thought was going to be a quiete night with 50 of my closest loved ones....

6pm was the invite, too bad it was latin time and well lets be real here, it people started to show up at around 7pm.
What continued lasted until 5am on saturday....

Luis n da ladies

some of the gals

Inside the house - we've been kicked outta the yard at 4am!

Sunday morning - waking up to my heart pounding outta my chest thanks to the ridiculous amounts of redbull consumed (of course vodka free, hehe) i took in what had happend the night before and hoped Sunday would be a day of rest and recovery....oh but wait, it wasnt....part 3 of the party continued. Since we had all that food and liquor left over, the family came over again and here it goes....

Yes ladies and gents, it does get progessively darker and we get slightly drunker as the night 3 proceeds on!

More pictures of the gongshow can be found in the album, no other than titled Almapalooza.
Thanks to my family both immediate and extended - oh who am I kidding, in this familia we are all immediate. Thank goodness it takes an average of 5-6 years in this family to graduate from post-secondary, because a party like this every year...oh no!
