Beauty - in the eye of the beholder?
This past week, I have been forced to stare into a mirror for 4 to 5 hours at a time and painting not only what I see physically, but as well the mood I am painting in. Needless to say it has been a very enlightening experience. And once I step away from my paintings, I can see a resemblance sometimes, but more often than not, it is my mood that has transpired onto the canvas or masonite.
After weeks of enless ranting, i have decided to show some of my art pieces, I will posting up pictures soon. Over the past month, our instructor got us space in the fine arts building to show some of our work. And yes, there are way more talented painters than me, but I am really happy with some of my works, they have taken long hours into the night and some even early in the morning.
Back to playing Picasso, Van Gaugh, Seville, or even Baroque I go....until next time :)
